General Attendance Settings

Configurations 🡪 Settings

The attendance settings module offers configurable parameters to tailor the organisation's workday structure.

Here are the available parameters:

  • Workdays: Administrators can select the default working days for the organisation. It's important to note that any definitions made at the shift level will take precedence over these settings.

  • Start & End Time: Define the default working hours for the organisation. If no specific shift is assigned to an employee, these default hours will apply. However, definitions made at the shift level will take precedence over these settings.

  • Lunch Start & End Time: Specify the default lunch break hours for the organisation. This parameter allows administrators to set standard lunch hours for employees, ensuring consistency across the organisation's workforce.

  • Attendance Notice Recipient: This field lets you specify who should receive notifications or updates related to attendance, such as supervisors or administrators. You can input email addresses or usernames for designated recipients.

  • Allows Edit Check-in / Check-out Time: This option enables users with the necessary permissions to modify their check-in and check-out times after they have been recorded.

  • Allows to Choose an Older Date: Users can select a date from the past to mark their attendance, which is useful in case attendance was not recorded on the day of work.

  • Allow Attendance by Coordinates: This feature permits attendance tracking based on geographic coordinates. Users need to be physically present at specified locations for their attendance to be registered.

  • Allow Attendance by Route: Employees can mark attendance by following a designated route. This is beneficial for jobs that require travel or specific movement patterns.

  • Auto Checkout: Automatically records a user's check-out time after a specified duration, enhancing accuracy in attendance tracking.

  • Send Notification for Forgotten Check-in: If an employee forgets to check in within the specified timeframe (e.g., 5 minutes after their shift starts), they will receive a notification reminding them to do so.

  • Send Email for Staff Check-in/Out at Customer Location: When staff members check in or out at a customer's location, an email notification is sent to the customer to keep them informed.

  • Allow Employees to Create Work Points: Employees can create designated work points for tracking their attendance. This is particularly useful when working from various locations.

Important: Geographic attendance tracking is only possible when the end user device is connected to the internet.

Annual Leave

  • Start Month for Annual Leave Cycle: Specify the starting month for the annual leave cycle, which helps in managing and tracking employees' vacation time.

Cron Job

  • Hour of Day for Notification of Approval Expiration: Set the specific hour of the day when the system will automatically send notifications for pending approval expirations. For example, the system might send reminders at 3 AM.
