Accounting 🡪 Transfer
The transfer functionality in the accounting module system allows users to move funds from one account to another. This feature ensures accurate tracking of internal transfers within the accounting system.
Accessing the “Transfer” Module:

Navigate to the Accounting → Transfer
Creating a Transfer

Selecting Accounts

From Account:
-
Choose the account from which the funds will be transferred.

To Account:
-
Choose the account to which the funds will be transferred.

Providing Transfer Details

Date of Transfer:
-
Enter the date when the transfer will take place.

Description:
-
Provide a brief description of the transfer to specify the purpose or details of the transaction.

Saving or Cancelling the Transfer

Save:
-
Click the Save button to complete the transfer and record it in the system.

Cancel:
-
Click the Cancel button to discard the transfer and exit the transfer creation interface.

Creating a Transfer from Cash in Hand to Opening Balance Equity

From Account: Select "Cash in Hand."

To Account: Select "Opening Balance Equity."

Date of Transfer: Enter "2024-05-18."

Description: Enter "Transfer to record opening balance."

Viewing and Managing Transfers
Transfer List: After a transfer is saved, it will appear in the transfer list. The list will display all details of each transfer, including:

Actions:

From the transfer list, you can:

Edit: Modify existing transfers.

Additionally, you have the option to perform bulk deletion or export the data in various formats such as Excel, PDF, or CSV. You can also print the data as needed.
Filters for Transfers

Transfer Funds From: Filter transfers by the source account.

Transfer Funds To: Filter transfers by the destination account.
-
From Date: Filter transfers starting from a specific date.
-
To Date: Filter transfers up to a specific date.
